Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Direct answers to the questions that usually decide whether a review goes ahead.

Will testing take down our site?

Not if we follow the agreed rules. Work is scheduled with you. Destructive or high-impact tests are off by default and need a separate written approval. You have a named stop contact during testing.

How is the fee set?

After we understand the targets and the deadline, we send a written scope and fee. There is no mandatory retainer and no requirement to buy hosting or software from us to receive the report.

Who sees the report?

You do. You may share it with counsel, insurers, auditors, or a board. We do not publish client names or findings. We will sign your NDA before access or testing begins.

Is the free scan the same as an assessment?

No. The public scan is a surface check of a website — useful, and it does not require an account. An assessment is scoped, analyst-reviewed, and delivered as a written report with limits stated.

How long does an assessment take?

Most website or single-application assessments complete in one to four weeks, including the report. A single consult can be scheduled within days. We will not start until authorization is in place.

What if we are in an incident now?

Say so in the message. During business hours we prioritize those inquiries. If the matter needs a law firm or a specialist beyond our scope, we will say so in the first reply rather than over-promising.

Prefer to start with a scan?

Run a free public-site check, then send us the URL if you want an analyst to review it.
